Privacy policy

Heart Rate Logger records heart-rate and related timing data from a Bluetooth sensor at your request. Recordings, sensor identifiers, and app settings are stored locally on your device. The app does not include advertising, analytics, tracking, user accounts, or a developer-operated server.

Bluetooth and Apple Health

The app accesses Bluetooth to discover, connect to, and receive measurements from compatible heart-rate sensors. It accesses Apple Health only after you choose Add This Log to Apple Health and grant HealthKit permission. The app does not read health records from Apple Health.

Exporting

CSV files are created only when you open a recording for export. You choose where to send them through the iOS share sheet. Apple Health exports and CSV sharing are separate, user-initiated actions. Once you share data with another app or person, their privacy practices apply.

Deleting your data

You can delete a recording from the History screen. Removing the app also removes its locally stored recordings, subject to normal device backups. Data already exported to Apple Health, Files, another app, or another person must be removed from that destination separately.

Changes

This policy will be updated if the app adds networking, analytics, cloud synchronization, accounts, or any other data collection.
